Chapel for Blessing Water
for the St. Euphrosyne Convent in Polotsk

The project of the water blessing chapel is designed to be placed outside the Holy Savior and Euphrosyne Convent, at its walls, for blessing and distribution of holy water. The flow of the parishioners to Epiphany for water is very high, so the decision to build the chapel was made. It is arranged in such a way that there is a large bowl with water inside it, from which the holy water is distributed both in the chapel itself and outdoors. Extensions were designed for supplying water outdoors.

There are two choices. The first one simply has taps installed in a special wall for water distribution. The second one has galleries with two small chapels on the north and south sides. There are utility rooms with an entrance from the street on the east (rear) side.
