COMPOUND OF THE PATRIARCH OF MOSCOW AND ALL RUS AT THE MOTHER OF GOD "SEEKER OF THE PERISHED" CHURCH

Location: Perovo, Moscow, Entuziastov Highway
Architects: Dmitry Ostroumov, Evgeniya Boglova, Victoria Mokrozub
Visualizer: Darya Kolesnikova
Graphic designer: Darya Orlova
Year: 2024
According to the design assignment, the territory of the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Seeker of the Perished" must have the pavilions for a restaurant with 88 seats and for public events. The project includes the children's playground with a play structure and the recreation areas next to flower beds and alpine rock gardens. The pedestrian paths are to be redesigned to provide better access to the pavilions and a comfortable stay on the territory. The entire site has to be surrounded by a fence with some doors. On the northern and western sides, in addition to these doors, there should be the entrance gates.
The restaurant pavilion is a metal frame with assemblable curtain walls of the structural insulated panel type. They are insulated by polyisocyanurate foam and have external finishing of wooden planks and inserts of natural stone bas-reliefs (limestone or marble). Functionally, the restaurant consists of the hall (54 seats) and the open terrace (34 seats). The food can be served directly outside through the window. The restaurant sells ready-made imported products.
The pavilion for public events is designed in the same way as the restaurant. In the outer walls of the event hall, there is a sliding stained-glass system, allowing for an open space in the warm season. As in the restaurant building, a dismountable floor structure provides access to the sewers and communication lines located under the pavilion.

The pavilion has an event hall with a total area of 155.7 m2 able to hold a champagne reception for 150 people. The portable stage can be installed for theatrical performances and other events. There are the auxiliary rooms for the preparation of events and service personnel. There is also the utility block for storing cleaning equipment for the church territory.

The design of both pavilions allows for their dismantling and relocation.
